Office Moving Day!

The office building I work in may not look a lot different from the outside, but it has been undergoing major changes incognito!  That’s right, things are getting straightened up i

Saying good-bye to my old cubicle. I am clearly not too attached to it. It's weird to see it so empty!

nside, must like my teeth in my Incognito Braces!  (Yes, I am fairly confident I can tie pretty much any event to my braces…try me.  HA HA).

Well, there’s a lot going on here at 3M Canada as we’re renovating head office to be more collaborative with an open concept (I say “we” like I’m involved, but I’m really just going along for the ride).  It’s going to be great!  There are many reasons why the renovations are necessary, but I’m a very social person, so I’m really going to like seeing people instead of grey boxes when I walk down the aisles.

I’ve been in meetings all day, but took a few pictures of what my office looked like before…and what it’s going to look like when I get to work tomorrow.  It’s a nice blend of familiarity and a fresh, new feeling.  I’m looking forward to my first day with my new neighbours, Julie and Amy!

Former workspace. I wrote many a blog post in that completely uncomfortable chair from the '90s. I'm going to miss having my own printer!

Note the extreme privacy with the fabric walls and the location of the windows...I honestly had no idea what the weather was like after I arrived at work.

New workspace! Notice the low, no-privacy walls and proximity to the windows. Take that, snow and rain storms! I'll see you comin'.

About Jacqui

I'm the marketer at 3M Canada for Incognito Hidden Braces, and I'm trying to get to know my product better by actually wearing them. I had braces as a kid, but my teeth moved over the years. I'm sharing my progress and experiences honestly to help others decide if Hidden Braces are a good choice for them, too.
