Hygiene with Braces

Yesterday and today, a speaker from 3M Unitek, Cathy Sundvall, presented to hygienists

Cathy Sundvall and I after her second lecture. What a trooper!

at the Pacific Dental Conference about Incognito Hidden Braces and the 3M ESPE preventive product line.

It was really informative!  What I personally found most interesting (beyond learning about those preventive products) was how important communications are between dental offices and orthodontic offices.  I guess it’s like any relationship!  Communication is the key.

After her lecture, I spent the afternoon exploring the waterfront as that’s where the convention centre is. I had no idea, but it took me nearly an hour to walk to the aquarium. It’s further than it looks!!   Here are some pics!!  And yes, I still have my braces on (even though you can’t see them).

I like this Post-it Note mosaic-looking whale! It's actually a neat scupture. I kind of look like I'm inflated or something.

The Olympic Flame

The beautiful seaside landscape shot. It was a bit chilly, but not rainy.

Made it to the aquarium! It only took 45 minutes of walking...at least. I look less happy than I felt. It was a beauftiful aquarium. It was also the school spring break, so there were kids running around everywhere.

I just thought this guy looked cool.

...and...finally got a good shot! I must have taken 20+ pics.

You're allowed to touch the starfish, but what I didn't expect was that the water would be ice cold. I really just wanted to use my pinky finger and get out of there. Freezing!

I love how huge the trees are in Vancouver. They're stunning!

About Jacqui

I'm the marketer at 3M Canada for Incognito Hidden Braces, and I'm trying to get to know my product better by actually wearing them. I had braces as a kid, but my teeth moved over the years. I'm sharing my progress and experiences honestly to help others decide if Hidden Braces are a good choice for them, too.
